The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of

India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the

respondents to produce the detenue Balwinder Kaur @ Sarabjit Kaur wife of

the petitioner Gurpreet Singh.

In pursuance to the order dated 17.4.2012, the parties are

present in the Court alongwith alleged detenue Balwinder Kaur @ Sarabjit

Kaur.

Alleged detenue Balwinder Kaur @ Sarabjit Kaur got her

statement recorded. As per her statement, she was married to the petitioner.
