The present writ petition has been filed under Articles

226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of

Mandamus directing the respondents to release the compensation along

with interest @ 18% for the acquisition of land for construction of New

Border Security Force, Battalion in the revenue estate of village Chak

Arayan Wala, Tehsil Fazilka, District Ferozepur.
