Seeking release of the alleged detenu, the petitioners have come up before this Court

under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Baljit Singh, submits that they are unable

to contact the alleged detenue-Amanjyoti.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they are having knowledge of

whereabouts of the detenue and deliberatly not producing the detenue for recording

the statement.

Given above, the concerned Superintendent of Police to ensure presence of the

detenue before the concerned Judicial Magistrate (preferably the lady Judicial

Magistrate) who further interact with her and pass an appropriate order whether she is

residing under forcefull
