The petitioners have challenged the selection made by

the respondents for the post of Art and Craft teachers and Physical

Training Instructors (PTI). Notice of motion was issued. Reply has

been filed. As per the counsel for the petitioner, the respondents

have not disclosed the criteria, which was fixed for selection

especially so, in the background that the respondents have changed

method to short list the candidates after doing away with list as

earlier proposed.

It will be appropriate for the petitioners to obtain the

criteria, which was formed and if any criteria was formed at all. The

petitioners can then make a submission if they have been wrongly

assessed in any manner.

As per the reply, the petitioners could not be selected as

they had secured less marks than the last selected candidate.

Counsel says that he does not wish to press this petition at this stage

and prays for liberty to file a fresh petition after obtaining information

from RTI.

Dismissed as not pressed with liberty to file a fresh

petition after obtaining information and after making necessary

amendments.
