By this petition, filed under the provisions of Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, the petitioners seek issuance of a direction to

respondents no.2 and 3, to protect their life and liberty, at the hands of

respondents no.4 to 6, with a further prayer made for a direction to

respondent no.2 to consider and decide the representation, dated 05.10.2021,

made by petitioner no.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as per her

instructions neither of the petitioners is married nor are they in any

prohibited sapinda relationship to each other.

However upon query to her, as to why they are not getting

married to each other rather than living in a live-in relationship (though

obviously if they both are adults there may be no legal bar to that), she
