The present peon has been filed under Arcle 226/227 of the Constuon of

India for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus by direcng respondents No. 2

and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the peoners at the hands of respondent No. 4.

Counsel for the peoners submits that he does not press the protecon at this

stage. However, he further submits that he would be sasfied in case direcons may be

issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the representaon (Annexure P-1) in a me bound

manner.

Noces are served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel.

Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of

official respondents nor the issuance of noces to the private respondents is required.
