Both the cases are at the instance of the same parties and

involving the same cause of action. Hence, with the consent of both

counsel, they are taken up together and disposed of.

Both the petitions for transfer are sought in respect of

two matrimonial proceedings, one for divorce and another for

custody of a minor child, both of which have been initiated by the

husband against the wife. The petitioner pleads for indigency as a
