The earlier writ petition No.50/2019 filed by the

petitioner convict was rejected by co-ordinate Bench of this court

vide order dated 21.02.2019.

As per the parole

recommendations, no one from the petitioner’s family resides at

the last known address.

In this background, I am of the view that the petitioner

convict does not deserve indulgence of parole. Accordingly, the

instant parole writ petition is dismissed as being devoid of merit.

The Full Time Secretary, District Legal Services

Authority, Udaipur shall ensure that a para legal volunteer goes to

visit the present petitioner in prison and confers with him and

makes enquiry regarding his family status. The para legal

volunteer shall also assist the convict for filing a fresh parole

application to the District Parole Advisory Committee with full

particulars within a period of 30 days from today. Upon such

parole application being preferred, the same shall be objectively

considered and decided by a reasoned order without being

prejudiced by the previous rejection.

A copy of this order shall be forwarded to the Full Time

Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Udaipur forthwith.
