Learned counsel for the parties are in agreement that the

question involved in the present case is with respect to the

elections of Sarpanch of the year 2015. The tenure of the same

has been completed way back in the year 2020. Therefore, the

present writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as having

become infructuous.

However, it is made clear that the question raised in the

election petition shall remain open to be adjudicated in the

appropriate proceedings.
