BY THE COURT :

Exercising powers conferred by Section 15 of the

Rajasthan Power Sector Reforms Act, 1999 read with

sub-clause (5) and (6) of clause 6 of the Rajasthan Power

Sector Reforms Transfer Scheme, 2000, the Board of Directors

of the Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Prasaran Nigam Limited

enacted “the Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Prasaran Nigam Limited

Engineers Service (Recruitment, Promotion and Seniority etc.)

Regulations” to govern the service conditions of the Engineers.

As per Regulations aforesaid, recruitment to the post of

Assistant Engineer (Electrical) including Assistant Controller of

Stores is required to be made by adopting the mode of direct

recruitment to the extent of 25% by promotion and remaining

75% vacancies from amongst the persons holding the post of
