[HC-252/2021]

We conferred with her ‘in camera’. With full confidence and

composure, she stated that the marriage ceremony which was

performed between her and the petitioner was by way of deceit

and she was not agreeable to the same.

We refrain from making any comments on the veracity of the

allegations made by the corpus. She has expressed firm desire to

be sent back to her father’s house.

We, therefore, direct that the corpus shall be forthwith

escorted to the place of her desire. The corpus has refused to

accept the amount of Rs. 10,000/- deposited by the petitioner by

way of peremptory cost in terms of the Order dated 07.09.2021.

The said amount shall be reimbursed to the petitioner.

The habeas corpus petition is dismissed. Rule is discharged.
