In this public interest petition the petitioner has raised

objection to allotment of certain land in the vicinity of Jaipur City

to private individuals which the petitioner contends being a

government land could not have been so allotted.

We are not inclined to entertain this public interest petition.

Firstly, the allottees are not joined as respondents. Secondly, the

order of allotment suggests that the same is done by collecting

certain amount of money. Small plots are thus allocated by

collecting charges for the same. The government is not prohibited

from allotting public land to private individuals unless, of course,

such allottment is by breaching any of the rules or is malafide to

favour private individuals.

Without sufficient material, this public interest petition has

been filed. In the event, the same is dismissed.
