The instant arbitration application has been filed by the

applicant under Sections 11 (5) and 11 (6) of the Arbitration and

Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter ‘the Act of 1996’) for

appointment of an Arbitrator.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the

applicant-contractor was awarded work of widening and

strengthening of two lane carriageway on NH-76 (Anta) to Nagda-

Rajpuria Road MDR (Anta-Nagda-Rajpuria) (Job No.CRF-713-RAJ-

2009).
