Mr. Karanpal Singh, for petitioner.

It is a joint petition filed by

petitioners who are claiming themselves local

residents of Gram Panchayat Bhoora. Their

grieance is that when santion was granted for

creation of 33/11 KV/GSS of electricity supply

line, representations were received regarding

creation of electricity supply line at Bhoora in

place of village Ukeri.

Counsel submits that the land was

acquired for creation of 33/11 KV/GSS line at

village Bhoora and despite recommendations being

made by Minister In-charge, no action has been

taken by respondent authority.

It is always open for the Department to

take decision regarding creation of 33/11 KV/GSS

after examining its technical feasibility and as

regards present petitioners, they have no right

of say being residents of gram panchayat Bhoora

to interfere in the proceedings regarding

decision for creation of 33/11 KV/GSS line at

the places either Bhoora or Ukeri and their

legal rights are not being infringed to question

the decision of respondents authority. This

Court finds no justification to interfere in

limited scope of judicial review U/Art.226 of

the Constitution.

Consequently, writ petition fails and is

hereby dismissed. However, petitioners are

always free to make any representation, if so

advised.
