Petitioner had issued cheque in favour of the

complainant respondent. The said cheque on presentation had

bounced. Petitioner was tried by the court of Additional Civil Judge

and Judicial Magistrate (First Division) No.2, Beawer, District

Ajmer, in criminal case No.650/2017 (300/2015). In the case

petitioner was convicted for offence under Section 138 of

Negotiable Instruments Act and was awarded sentence.

Aggrieved against the conviction and sentence

petitioner preferred appeal bearing No.123/2017, the appeal is

pending in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge

No.1, Beawer, District Ajmer.
