Heard Mr. P. Roy Barman, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. K.

Nath, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M. Debbarma,

learned Additional GA appearing for the State-respondents.

Considering the nature of dispute arises in the present writ petition

filed by the petitioner, and in view of the judgment and order dated

02.02.2021 rendered in WP(C) 1425 of 2019 [Sri Uttam Das Baishnab vs.

State of Tripura and 2 others] settling the principle on the subject in issue,

in my opinion, the present writ petition may be disposed of finally and, I

have taken up the matter for disposal today itself at the very threshold.

In the instant writ petition, the petitioner has stated that he was

favoured with a Scheduled Caste certificate on 08.09.1985 (Annexure 1

to the writ petition). The grievance of the petitioner is that, all on a
