Heard Mr. D. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner

as well as Mr. AK Bhowmik, learned Advocate General appearing for the

State-respondent.

The petitioner, namely, Md. Abu Taher is a retired Head Constable of

Tripura Police and the other petitioner, Md. Jakir Hossain, is a student of Law

in ICFAI and also a retired CRPF jawan. They have approached this court by

filing the present application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for granting them pre-

arrest bail in connection with Bishalgarh PS case no. 26 of 2019 under

sections 341/325/326/307/34 of the IPC.

Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has

strenuously argued incourse of hearing of the bail application that the

petitioners are totally innocent and they have been falsely implicated with the

instant case only out of political rivalry. The allegation is that the petitioners

had attacked the workers
