JUDGMENT(ORAL)

Heard Ms. R. Purkayastha, learned counsel for the appellant as well

as Mr. S. Debnath, learned Additional PP appearing for the State-

respondent.

The appellant, by means of filing the present appeal has challenged

the judgment and order of conviction and order of sentence dated

06.06.2020 passed by the learned Special Judge, Gomati Judicial District,

Udaipur in connection with case No. Special (POCSO) 17 of 2019

wherein the appellant has been convicted under Section 8 of the POCSO

Act and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 4(four) years and

to pay a fine of Rs. 5,000/- with default stipula
