The challenge in this petition is made to the

proceedings of Criminal Case No. 4719 of 2020, State Vs.

Kavi Kumar, under Sections 323, 326B, 498A, 506 IPC,

pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and

perused the record.

Initially, notices were issued to respondent no.2,

but notice has yet not been served.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner would

submit that he does not press the petition on merit. He

restricts his submission to the extent that the direction may

be given to the court below that the bail application of the

petitioner may be decided in terms of the judgment passed
