Applicant Sunil Negi, is in judicial custody in FIR

No. 223 of 2021, under Sections 304-B, 504, 506 IPC and

Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police

Station Bahadrabad District Haridwar. He has sought his

release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused

the record.

According to the FIR, the applicant and the

deceased Suman were married on 17.10.2017. But, after

some time, the deceased was taunted and beaten by her in-

laws. The applicant started staying alongwith the deceased

separate from her family members. On 02.06.2021, the

mother of the deceased was informed that she has

committed suicide.
