Heard Smt. Atipriya Gautam, learned counsel for the petitioner

and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

Present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution has

been filed for following reliefs:

"(i) issue, a writ or direction in the nature of certiorari, quashing the

impugned suspension order dated 05.01.2021, passed by the Respondent

No.4, (enclosed as Annexure-1) to the Writ Petition.

(ii) issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing

the respondents, to reinstate the services of the petitioner and allow him to

join his duties as Sub-Inspector, with all consequential benefits and also to

pay his salary. "

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the

petitioner is working as Sub-Inspector in U.P. Police and vide

impugned order dated 05.01.2021 passed by respondent no.4-
