Against the order of externment dated 14.6.2022,

petitioner claims to have preferred an appeal alongwith

stay application, which is stated to be pending. Grievance

is that stay application and appeal have not been heard so

far.

Learned A.G.A. states that an appropriate decision would

be taken in the matter, expeditiously.

In the facts of the case and in view of the fact that order of

externment shall remain valid for a period of six months,

we direct the second respondent to pass an appropriate

order on petitioner's stay application within two weeks

from today, and make all endeavours to dispose off the

petitioner's pending appeal finally, within a further period

of six weeks, thereafter.

Considering the fact that in the solitary case on the basis of

which externment order has been passed the parties have

already compromised and the plea in that regard is yet to

be considered by the ap
