Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and

perused the record.

The present application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime

no. 44 of 2022, under Sections 498A, 504, 506, 323, 313, 377 and 494 IPC, P.S.

Mahila Thana, District Aligarh, with the prayer that in the event of arrest,

applicant may be released on bail.

According to the prosecution version, the applicant is working in police and that

he came into contact of complainant through face-book and thereafter on

05.09.2017 he came at the office of complainant and committed rape upon her.

In December 2018 he has got performed a sham 'Nikah' with her, by

administering some intoxicant in her clod drink and thereafter they started

residing together in a flat and when complainant became pregnant, her
