Petitioner had earlier approached this Court by filing Writ

Petition No.7289 of 2021, which came to be disposed of vide

following orders passed on 20.7.2021:-

"Heard Sri Manish Dev Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Birendra Pratap

Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

The petitioner was selected as an Assistant Review Officer in the U.P. Secretariat by a

communication of 29 October 2020. He was also asked to join the training program.

However, no appointment order came to be issued. The case of the petitioner is that the

respondents have failed to take further consequential steps to his selection on account of

his arraignment in Case Crime No. 09 of 2013. It is presently not clear from the record

whether a disclosure in respect of the pending criminal case was made by the petitioner at

the time of filling in the application form or filing the verification affidavits which are

normally r
