Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

By means of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for following relief as

substantial relief:

"(a). Issue an order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the

court of Parmanent Lok Adalat Muzaffar Nagar to decide the petition No.

88 of 2019 (Alka Kaushik v. Aditya Birla) expeditiously within stipulated

period, which is pending before him."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the petitioner

has been impleaded as respondent No.2 in the claim petition

No.- 88 of 2019 which is pending before the Parmanent Lok

Adalat. He further submits that the very purpose of Parmanent

Lok Adalat will get defeated if the matter remains pending for

several years.

Upon perusal of the order sheet which has been brought on

record, it transpires that claim petition is pending at the stage of

conciliation and possible compromise as the endeavour of
