Heard Sri Deepak Agarwal, learned counsel for the

petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent

no.1.

The instant petition has been filed for mandamus directing

the respondent no.1 i.e. Board of Revenue, U.P. at

Lucknow to decide the review application dated

25.04.2017 filed by the petitioner in Revision No.1877 of

2015 (Gudawari Vs. Ashtabhuja and Others) within

stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

petitioner filed a review application on 25.4.2017 in

Revision No.1877 of 2015 on the ground that opposite

party no.2 on the basis of wrong facts that civil suit has

decided in favour of respondent no.2 has got the order.

He further submitted that on the review application, the

order was passed on 18th May, 2018 admitting the review

application, summoning the lower Court record and

issuing notice to the opposite parties but till date the

review application has not been decided.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and

keeping

in

view

of

the

facts

and

circumstances, respondent no.1 i.e. Board of Revenue,

U.P. at Lucknow is directed to decide the aforementioned

review application after giving an opportunity of hearing to

the parties in accordance with law expeditiously

preferably within a period of three months from the date of

production of certified copy of this order before him.

Accordingly, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
