1. Heard Mohd. Naushad Siddiqui and Sri Shreesh Srivastava,

learned counsel for the appellants and Sri Amaresh Sinha,

learned counsel for the respondent.

2. By way of this appeal, the claimants have challenged the

judgment and order dated 3.8.2019 passed by Motor Accident

Claims Tribunal/Additional District Judge, Court No.3, Kanpur

Nagar (hereinafter referred to as 'Tribunal') in M.A.C.P. No.

1119 of 2017 awarding sum of Rs.49,34,200/- as compensation

to the claimants with interest at the rate of 7%.

3. The accident is not in dispute. The Insurance Company has

not challenged the liability imposed on them. The issue of

contributory negligence has attained finality. Hence, the only

issue to be decided is, the quantum of compensation awarded.

The details of facts except for deciding compensation are not

narrated.
