This writ petition arises out of the order dated 17.10.2017 passed by

District Supply Officer, District Firozabad suspending the fair price shop

license of the petitioner.

The petitioner is a fair price shop dealer and is running the shop

after having been granted license in the urban area of District Firozabad.

Total number of 264 ration cards are attached to his shop. The dispute is

of September, 2017 wherein it has been alleged that essential

commodities/ration was distributed to only 208 card holders. After

coming of Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and

Distribution Control) Order, 2016 (hereinafter called as “Control Order,

2016”),
