This appeal arises out of the order dated 26.11.2019 passed by the
District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Shivpuri (for short the
‘District Commission’) in CC No.101 / 2018.

2. Learned counsel for the appellant has not disputed that the question
involved in this appeal has already been considered and decided in various
appeals including FA No.328/2020 (Saran Kumar Gupta Versus Sahara
Credit Cooperative Society & Ors.) decided on 25.11.2022. He however,
submits that in the said case and other connected cases decided with it this
Commission has taken a view that the respondent would be entitled for
interest @12% p.a. from the date of deposit till payment while confirming
the order of the District Commission as was awarded by the District
Comission. He therefore prayed to amend and modify the impugned order
to that extent only.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid, we dispose of this appeal in terms of
the said order dated 25.11.2022 passed in FA No.328/2020 (Saran Kumar
Gupta Versus Sahara Credit Cooperative Society & Ors.) with modification
in the impugned order to the extent that the respondent shall be entitled to
the interest @12% p.a. from the date of deposit till payment. The rest of
the impugned order shall remain unaffected.
4. No order as to the costs.
