UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R

This Court through the order dated 02.12.2019 has indicated

the reason for which the interim arrangement presently in vogue is

to be altered by appointing an alternate interim Commissioner for

the Travancore Devasom Board in place of Mr. Harshan.

In pursuance to the said Order, Mr. H.P. Raval, learned senior

counsel appearing for the petitioners-State of Kerala, has produced

before this Court the Letter dated 07.12.2019 addressed by the

Principal Secretary to the Government and has therein indicated the

names of the officers who could be considered for the said purpose.

Mr. P.S. Sudheer, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-

Board, having noted the same would submit that he would have no

objection for the change to be made and either of the officers

named could be appointed.

In that view, it is directed that Mr. B.S. Thirumeni, IAS,

Director of Panchayats, Government of Kerala, shall act as an

interim Commissioner of the Travancore Devasom Board in place of

Mr. M. Harshan.

The interim arrangement which is made shall continue until

further orders from this Court.

Accordingly, application (127142/2019) seeking permission to

appoint Devasom Commissioner stands disposed of.

List the matter for hearing on 17.03.2020.
