We are not impressed by the explanation offered in the application by the advocate-on-record taking responsibility for neither appearing physically nor connecting/joining through video conferencing.

However, as the litigant should not suffer for the mistake of the advocate, we allow this application for restoration on payment of cost of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only), to be paid to the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee within two weeks from today.

Subject to above, list the appeal in the third week of November, 2021.
