UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R

The petitioner is the complainant in a complaint filed

by her complaining of the commission of the offence under Section

138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The complaint is

pending before the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court at Andheri in

Mumbai.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits

that the Petitioner is seeking transfer on the ground that she has

received threats to her life in Mumbai and therefore, she has

shifted her residence to Delhi. She states that police complaints

have already been filed by the petitioner complaining about the

threat to her life in Mumbai. She seeks time to file copies of the

complaints on record. Accordingly, four weeks’ time is granted to

file a copies of the complaints already filed by the petitioner

complaining about threat to her life.

List after four weeks.

In the meantime, there shall be stay of further

proceedings in Complaint Case No. 1887/SS/2021 titled Radhika

Chowdhry vs. Bhai Manjit Singh & Anr. pending in the Metropolitian

Magistrate, 44th Court, Andheri, Mumbai.
