Introduction

[1] The plaintiff seeks in encl 20, among others, a stay of all proceedings in this present OS-WA-24NCVC-2310-11/2021 (OS) until the determination of the plaintiff's appeals (No: W- 02(IM)(NCVC)-73-01/2022) at the Court of Appeal, for my decisions in suit WA-22VCvC-425-06/2021 (suit 425), involving similar parties.

[2] The relevant cause papers and written submissions are as follows:

(a) Application for stay dated 15 February 2022 (enclosure 20).

(b) The plaintiff's affidavit in support affirmed by Wong Chee Kooi on 15 February 2022 (enclosure 21).

(c) The defendant's affidavit in reply affirmed by Yeoh Yong Woi on 12 November 2021 (enclosure 27); and

(d) The plaintiff's affidavit in reply affirmed by Wong Chee Kooi on 21 March 2022 (enclosure 29).

[3] After considering the cause papers filed, respective oral and written submissions of the parties, on 30 May 2022, I dismissed the said application (enclosure 20), with costs in the cause. Dissatisfied, the plaintiff appealed, and my reasons are as follows:
