[1] This is an application by the Defendant under O 24 r 7(1) of the Rules of 2012 (" ROC 2012") dated 21 September 2018 (Encl 36) seeking Discovery of the documents described in the List of Documents marked as "Annexure A" against the Plaintiff.

[2] The List of Documents in "Annexure A" are as follows:

(a) Approval Letter for the Operation issued by the Tianjin Authority, China, to Xianda (Tianjin) Seawater Resources Developments Co Ltd, which are in the possession of the Plaintiff, and a copy of the same documents translated in English;

(b) A copy of the Operation Agreement signed by the Plaintiff on behalf of Xianda (Tianjin) Seawater Resources Developments Co Ltd and by the Tianjin Authority, China on November 2016, and a copy of the same document translated in English; and

(c) All letters, correspondence and emails with and/or from Tianjin Authorit
