Introduction

[1] This is the Plaintiffs application to amend the description of the parties in this suit and in Suit No 22NCVC-209-12/2015, which was heard together with it on order of court. I heard and allowed the application. These are the grounds for my decision.

Finality Of Proceedings

[2] The suits were disposed of by the High court in favour of the Plaintiff. On appeal, the court of Appeal upheld the decision of the High court and leave to further appeal to the Federal court was refused.

Application To Amend Description Of Parties In Proceedings

[3] The Plaintiffs application is to amend the description of the parties in the proceedings on the judgment as follows:

(a) In this suit, to insert the NRIC of the 1st and 2nd Plaintiff, to correct the spelling of the 1st Defendant's name and to insert the old NRIC of the 2nd Defendant; and

(b) In suit 22NCVC-209-12/2015, to correct the NRIC of the 1st Plaintiff and insert the old NRIC of the 2nd Defendant (who are the defendants in the abovementioned suit) and to insert the NRIC of the 2nd Defendant.

[4] The proposed amendments were merely to correct the name and/or to correct/insert the NRIC of the parties. This
