Introduction

[1] The Defendants in this case have filed 3 Notices of Appeal against the decisions of this court. They are as follows in order of filing:

(i) The first Notice of Appeal is in encl 70 which is the Defendants' appeal against the decision of this court dated 7 January 2021 which dismissed the Defendants' application in encl 19 to strike out the Plaintiffs' Amended Writ and Amended Statement of Claim (ASOC) dated 25 November 2019 pursuant to O 18 r 19(1) ROC 2012.

(ii) The second Notice of Appeal is in encl 71 and this is the Defendants' appeal against the decision of this court to appoint Sazly Zahrin b Marhusin as litigation representative for and on behalf of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Plaintiffs who are minors. The Notice of Application in reference to this is in encl 43.

(iii) The last Notice of Appeal in in encl 72. This is an appeal by the Defendants against the decision of this court in refusing their application to strike out paras 22 and 31 of the Plaintiffs' Amended ASOC. This application is found in encl 46.
