JUDGMENT
Introduction
[1] This case involves a wide spectrum of issues in view of the combination of causes of action where the Plaintiff's pleaded claim against the Defendant is premised on defamation, tort of inducement of breach of contract, tort of unlawful interference of business and tort of intentional interference with prospective economic advantage whilst the Defendant has counterclaimed against the Plaintiff for breach of contract, copyright infringement and breach of confidential information.
[2] A glimpse of the dispute between the parties can be seen in the judgment of the High Court in MRA International Sdn Bhd v. SPC Diatech, LLC [2018] MLRHU 2002 in respect of the Plaintiff's application for an interlocutory injunction and the Defendant's application to set aside the Ex Parte Interim Injunction Order granted by the Court on 17 March 2017.
