[1] The appellant's appeal is in respect of inadequacy of sentence imposed by the learned High Court judge. The accused pleaded guilty to the alternative charge to an offence under s 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 ( DDA ). The alternative charge read as follows:-
"Bahawa kamu pada 12 Julai 2013 jam lebih kurang 7.30 malam, bertempat di pintu gate 2, kawasan parking bahagian belakang Pusat Beli Mydin, USJ1, Subang Jaya, di dalam Daerah Petaling, di dalam Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan di dapati memiliki dadah berbahaya, iaitu sejumlah berat bersih: 922 gram 'Cannabis' tanpa sebarang kebenaran atau kuasa untuk memilikinya di dalam mana-mana undang-undang dan peraturan yang ternyata di dalam Akta ini.
