AWARD

Encik Mohd Khurshaid Bin Ramjan Din ("the complainant") loded a complaint under S. 56(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1967 that Ipoh city & Country Club Berhad ("the company") had failed to comply with Award No. 252/2006.

In that award dated 21st February 2006, the company was ordered to pay backwages and compensation in lieu of reinstatement amounting to RM43,384.00, less retrenchment benefits and other statutory deductions, within thirty (30) days from the date of service of the award.

On the date fixed for hearing of the complaint, the matter was however amicably settled. It is therefore by consent that the company shall comply with Award No. 252/2006 by paying the complainant in twenty-four (24) monthly instalments vide twenty-four (24) post-dated cheques in accordance with the agreed schedule of payment annexed hereto.
