AWARD

Encik Mohd Khurshaid Bin Ramjan Din ("the complainant") loded a complaint under S. 56(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1967 that Ipoh city & Country Club Berhad ("the company") had failed to comply with Award No. 252/2006.

In that award dated 21^st February 2006, the company was ordered to pay backwages and compensation in lieu of reinstatement amounting to RM43,384.00, less retrenchment benefits and other statutory deductions, within thirty (30) days from the date of service of the award.

On the date fixed for hearing of the complaint, the matter was however amicably settled. It is therefore by consent that the company shall comply with Award No. 252/2006 by paying the complainant in twenty-four (24) monthly instalments vide twenty-four (24) post-dated cheques in accordance with the agreed schedule of payment annexed hereto.

With reference to the discussion between your goodself and Mr. Ricky Khong (Group GM /Executive Director) on 2^nd June 2006 and the mutual agreement by both parties on payment by 24 months instalment being the full and final settlement of the award by the Industrial Court, we hereby are issuing the following cheques to you on the 6^th June 2006.

Please be informed that the 1^st cheque of RM2,285.66 has been paid to you by the lawyer's office and kindly acknowledge on this letter upon receiving the 2^nd cheque and balance of other post dated cheques as listed below.

We hereby confirm mat you shall not have any claim regarding the above matter against our company in future.
