AWARD

The parties in this case are S.U.C. Consortium Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") and Lee Joon Kit (hereinafter referred to as "the claimant"). The claimant alleged that he had been dismissed without just cause or excuse on 10 September 2001.

This case was set down for mention on 24 November 2004. On this day, the company representative informs the court that both parties have reached an amicable settlement.

Pursuant to its powers under s. 31 of the Industrial Relations Act 1967 the court records the terms of settlement which had been arrived at between the claimant and the company on the following tenns:

(i) The company to pay the claimant an amount of RM19,000 as full and final settlement of claim; and

(ii) Payment to be effected by or before the end of December 2004.
