[1] By this originating summons the plaintiff, Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd ('Measat'), applies for an order of security for costs, against the defendant, AV Asia Sdn Bhd ('AV Asia') in respect of the counterclaim brought by AV Asia against it, in the pending arbitration proceedings. The arbitration proceedings which were commenced between the parties on 23 October 2012, is a domestic arbitration conducted under the auspices of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration ('KLRCA').
