AWARD

The parties in this case are Borneo Agro Specialty Food Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") and Antonia ak Pendi, Katijah binti Bujang and Tina ak Untung (hereinafter referred to as "the 1st, 2nd and 3rd claimant" respectively). The claimants alleged that they had been dismissed without just cause or excuse on 21 March 2003.

This case was set down for mention on 30 October 2004 and 1 December 2004. Upon case management undertaken by the court, both parties are desirous to pursue an amicable settlement. On 1 December 2004 counsel representing the company informed the court that both parties have reached an amicable settlement amongst them and the company will settle the dispute by payment of the following amounts as full and final setdement:

(i) 1st claimant RM1,592.50;

(ii) 2nd claimant RM1,755; and

(iii) 3rd claimant RM1,185.

Further this court has received a letter dated 3 December 2004 informing that the payment has been effected.
