Introduction

[1] The Applicant had, on 11 July 2023 filed an application by way of Originating Summons (OS) (encl 1) seeking, inter alia, the following orders:

1.1 Pemohon, iaitu THEYAKARAJA PALANIANDY, diterima masuk dan didaftarkan semula sebagai peguamcara dan peguambela Mahkamah Tinggi Malaya;

1.2 Relif lanjut atau relif lain yang Mahkamah yang Mulia ini anggap patut dan wajar; dan

1.3 Tiada perintah untuk kos.

[2] In gist, the Applicant filed the OS to seek an order to restore himself to the Roll of Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya (the Roll) under s 107 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 ( LPA ).

[3] After the hearing, I dismissed the Applicant's OS (Enclosure 1). This judgment contains the full reasons for my decision.
