This was an originating motion in encl 4 filed by the plaintiff to cancel the Registrars caveats entered against the plaintiffs lands comprised in PTD 27356 HS (D) 26670 till PTD 27722 HS (D) 27033, Mukim Kluang, Daerah Kluang, Johor totalling 364 lots of land held in 364 separate titles. It was not disputed that the plaintiff was the registered proprietor of all the 364 lots of land. It was in evidence that the first defendant entered the Registrars caveats on the plaintiffs lands at the behest of the fourth defendant. The fourth defendant had made an application for the entry of the Registrars caveats on the strength of a police report lodged by the third defendant, the director of the second defendant. The first defendant through Adib Azhari bin Daud deposed an affidavit-in-reply in encl 9 dated 19 March 1997 and there he said that the fourth defendant had intimated that the investigations had not been completed and consequently, the first defendant could not cancel the Registrars caveats.

The plaintiff was perturbed at the existence and continuance of the Registrars caveats on the 364 lots of land. The effect of a Registrars caveat is manifold. I
