AWARD

The parties in this case are Advantage Resources Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") and Lee Chee Heung (hereinafter referred to as "the claimant"). The claimant alleged that he had been dismissed without just cause or excuse on 18 July 2003.

This case was set down for mention on 9 December 2004. On this day, the claimant was absent and no statement of case is filed. The company representative, Mr. Guan Ghee Shing, General Manager also informed the court that the claimant did not present himself at the conciliation proceedings initiated by the Department of Industrial Relations, hi the premise, the court accordingly orders the claim of the claimant be struck off with liberty to file afresh.
