The petitioners have instituted the above action in the District Court of Colombo on 25 March 2024, praying the following reliefs that “A. a declaration that the termination of the General Sales Agency Agreement is wrong and unlawful;

B. an order directing the Defendant to extend the General Sales Agent Agreement for another period of 5 years with the 1^st Plaintiff, [Indu Sky Aviation (Pvt) Ltd.]

C. a judgement and a decree of a sum of Rupees 490 Million for the loss of future earnings and damage caused to the goodwill of the 1^st Plaintiff company damages together with legal interest thereon from the date of termination of the General Sales Agent Agreement until the date of decree and thereafter legal rate of interest on the decretal amount till payment in full in favour of the 1^st plaintiff D. a judgement and a decree of a sum of Rupees 270 Million together with legal interest thereon from the date of termination of the General Sales Agent Agreement until the date of decree and thereafter legal rate of interest on the decretal amount till payment in full in favour of the 2nd -

11^th plaintiffs;

E. a Permanent Injunction, Interim Injunction and Enjoining Order restraining the Defendants from transferring the General Sales Agency to a third party;

F. a Permanent Injunction, Interim Injunction and Enjoining Order restraining the Defendants from interfering the Plaintiffs to continue with all duties as attended by the Plaintiffs on behalf of the Defendant as per the General Sales Agency Agreement; (Vide: X1)”.
