Reg.1 Short title and commencement

       (1) These regulations may be called the Establishment of New Medical Colleges, Opening of Higher Courses of Study and Increase of Admission Capacity in Medical Colleges Regulation, 1993.
       (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Reg.2 Scheme relating to medical colleges

       The scheme referred to in clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (2) of section 10A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 is annexed hereto.
