(1) AS the petition for making clarifications in the directions contained in Rajdeo Sharma v. State of Bihar, (1998) 7 SCC 507 : (1998 AIR SCW 3208: AIR 1998 SC 3281 : 1998 Cri LJ 4596) is being heard today the time limit mentioned there is kept in abeyance for a period of three months from today for the purpose of considering the feasibility for issuing the clarifications sought for.

(2) THE Chief Secretary of the State of Bihar is directed to file an affidavit with reference to the dates as to how steps have been taken for complying with the directions contained in the last paragraph of the judgment in Rajdeo Sharma v. State of Bihar, (1998) 7 SCC 507 : (1998 AIR SCW 3208 .- AIR1998SC3281:1998 Cri LJ 4596). If not complied with so far he would show cause why Contempt proceedings should not be initiated against him. The affidavit should reach this Court on or before 19-7-1999. This order shall be communicated immediately.

(3) JUDGMENT reserved in Cr. M. P. No. 2326 of 1999.
