ORDER

The petitioners are the accused Nos.1 to 9 in Crime No.2110 dated 11.12.2011 of Perumbavoor Police Station which is now pending as C.C. No.951/2015 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court – I, Perumbavoor. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 143, 147, 341, 323, 451 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code.

2. The prosecution case is that, on 11.11.2011 at 5.30 p.m., the accused formed themselves into an unlawful assembly and with a common object assaulted the respondents 3 to 9. Annexure A1 is the First Information Report and Annexure A2 is the final report submitted.

3. Heard Sri.Binu Paul, learned counsel appearing for the learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri.C.S. Hrithwik, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and Sri.S.R. Sreejith, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 9.

4. The prayer for quashing the above proceedings is sought for by the petitioners on the ground that, the dispute between the parties have been settled and to substantiate the same, the injured persons have filed Annexures A3 to A9 affidavits which were sworn by them.
