O R D E R

Insofar as Interlocutory application No. 38188 of 2019 is concerned, we correct our judgment dated 03.10.2019 as follows:

(1) The order date in the sentence which reads - “...The same was allowed by an order dated 22.04.2018 by the Sub- Court, Thoothukudi……” which occurs in paragraph 16 of the judgment, is corrected as “22.04.2019”.

(2) So far as the table in paragraph 20 is concerned, Serial Nos. 2, 3 and 5 of the table be corrected stating that the status of these proceedings is “not pending as they have all been disposed of by judgment dated 29.10.2018 of the High Court”.

Applications for impleadment/intervention are allowed.

Having heard learned counsel for all the parties, we find that our judgment dated 03.10.2019 had appointed an Advocate-

16:38:t23 iISTme-frames. Despite the fact that all the aforesaid time-frames Reason:

have come to an end, the election has not yet been held.

We are therefore of the view that so far as the “Karapettai Society” is concerned, the list that was sent for the election to the Tuticorin Educational Society in the year 2015, so far as both the General Body as well as Executive Committee are concerned, will be adopted for the purpose of this election as well.

We have been informed that two out of the five members that were set up in 2015 for the General Body have since been expired. We, therefore, nominate Mr. P. ThenRaj and Mr. A. Murugeshan to take their place. The elections for the Executive Committee as well as the General Body will now be convened in accordance with our judgment by the Advocate-Commissioner latest within a period of one week from today.

Miscellaneous Applications are disposed of accordingly.

Pending applications also stand disposed of.
